  12. How is the USR Sportster Si. different from the Vi ? If it is primarily 
  13. going to be used for fax , is there going to be a marked change in 
  14. performance ? It will be installed on a Pentium system....

  16. Also, I am debating whether to get a generic modem or a brand name one. I 
  17. know the you-get-what-you-pay-for rule but the prices are more than 
  18. double for a good brand and there seem to be people having no problems 
  19. using generic modems. ANy suggestions....and recommendations where to get 
  20. a good deal on them ?
